Job Description

Position Overview

This position is aligned with the Electrical and Special Projects Divisions of Encore Electric to source and recruit qualified talent for remote and local projects using company and industry recruiting resources and professional networks. The recruiter will be responsible for recruiting Licensed Electricians and field leadership roles while collaborating cross functionally with other business units.

Compensation: $75,000 to $95,000 depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain open communication lines and follow up to ensure accountability in all working relationships.
  • Source and recruit qualified candidates—including Licensed Electricians and field leadership—through creative methods and leveraging industry networks.
  • Coordinate with various departments to set up interviews (in person, video, or phone) and manage job postings via UKG.
  • Evaluate candidate skills methodically using interviews, selection tests, and a structured hiring process while ensuring compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity policies.
  • Establish relationships with technical/trade schools; attend career fairs and career events to source graduating students and interns.
  • Partner with Human Resources on market compensation assessments and ensure a smooth transition from offer to onboarding.
  • Emphasize relationship-building to maintain a strong talent pipeline and adopt best practices and innovative recruiting technologies.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field with three to five years of progressive experience in a fast-paced business environment.
  • Direct experience in electrical recruiting and proficiency with Human Resources processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Excel and Outlook 365) and experience with Applicant Tracking Systems; familiarity with UKG is strongly preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills with the ability to manage complex projects and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Ability to work in-office with occasional travel as required by the role.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual recruiting experience is highly desirable.
  • Experience applying A.I. tools to the recruiting process.
  • Proven track record in sourcing candidates from niche markets.
