Position Overview

Member Services Agent (Call Center) – Fully Remote

Rue Gilt Groupe is dedicated to providing exceptional customer service. In this role, you will support customers via phone and email while working remotely – equipment is provided. Please note: you must have a minimum of 1-year call center experience (specifically in call center operations, not general customer service), be available for shifts Monday through Sunday (9am–9pm EST), reside in designated states, and have a private workspace with hardwired internet (100mbps download/30mbps upload).
Starting pay: $17.00/hr

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer support via phone and email.

  • Maintain a high level of accuracy in handling customer inquiries and data entry.

  • Manage time effectively while handling multiple customer interactions.
  • Ensure consistent attendance and punctuality to support team success.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1-year call center experience (inbound and outbound) within the last 5 years.
  • Availability to work any shift, including weekends (Monday–Sunday from 9am–9pm EST).
  • Residency in one of the designated states (e.g., Florida, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Kentucky, Texas, South Carolina, Georgia, Indiana, Wisconsin, Minnesota, New Hampshire, Missouri, Alabama, Arizona, District of Columbia, Maine, Maryland, Nevada, New Jersey, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Utah, Virginia, or Washington).
  • A private workspace with a door to minimize distractions.
  • Reliable, hardwired internet connection (minimum 100mbps download and 30mbps upload).
  • Customer-centric attitude with excellent communication skills (active listening and articulate speech).
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and attention to detail.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with 1–3 years of experience in a contact (call) center environment.
  • Proficiency in relevant computer applications and the ability to navigate multiple screens efficiently.
