Position Overview

Chewy is seeking a highly motivated, data driven, and strategic Marketing Analytics Manager to join our Marketing Science team in Boston, MA. This role is focused on optimizing and analyzing marketing channels to drive new customer growth and retention. The successful candidate will utilize extensive marketing and customer data to make recommendations, analyze campaign effectiveness, and provide actionable insights to improve ad performance across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop analytic frameworks to measure the impact of marketing programs across various channels and teams.
  • Generate customer-focused insights and recommendations to engage both potential and existing customers.
  • Conduct deep dive analyses on key projects including site metrics, customer metrics, and overall business performance.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the customer experience by analyzing engagement and eliminating friction points.
  • Collaborate on the development of learning agendas and test plans to further improve marketing program performance.
  • Work with the Marketing Science team on advanced analytics and model development initiatives.
  • Develop reporting that ensures consistency across programs and teams.

Required Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience in marketing or customer analytics.
  • Bachelor's degree in statistics, economics, mathematics, marketing, or a related field (Master’s a plus).
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience working with large datasets; knowledge of Python or other coding languages is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of marketing ecosystems and customer data with the ability to interpret and derive actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills to clearly articulate complex information and influence data-driven business decisions.
  • Ability to operate independently, managing multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining strong attention to detail.
  • A natural curiosity about consumer behavior and its impact on business performance.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau is a plus.
