Position Overview
If you have a passion for creating advertising and promotions along with a keen eye for copywriting, join our Marketing team as a Marketing Communications Project Officer at Dollar Bank. In this role, you will assist in communications and project management for the Marketing department’s retail and business programs across all markets, working closely with product management to develop and implement creative advertising elements for both traditional and digital promotions. This position is Full-time with a schedule of Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, located at 20 Stanwix Street.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of assigned projects including research, copywriting, internal reviews, legal approval, production, distribution, and effectiveness monitoring.
- Coordinate with product management, bank branches, digital banking, and other departments to ensure timely project development and alignment with departmental goals and budgets.
- Communicate regularly with project requestors as well as senior leadership including the Vice President of Communications and Chief Marketing Officer.
- Assist in website development, testing, and maintenance of marketing-related items.
- Collaborate with outside marketing agencies, vendors, and the in-house graphic design team to produce compelling promotional materials across various media.
- Support social media initiatives, including content development for Dollar Bank’s platforms and local listing management such as Google Posts and Reviews.
- Maintain awareness of current financial, legal, and compliance issues related to marketing and promotions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required or commensurate professional experience in lieu of a degree.
- Five (5) years of experience in marketing/communications; financial background preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to utilize web-based tools.
- Creative, resourceful, highly detailed, results-driven professional with strong initiative.
- Strong analytical, project planning, and interpersonal skills with a customer service orientation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication coupled with exceptional copywriting ability.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and website content management systems.
- Thorough understanding of marketing principles and traditional media channels.
