Position Overview
Compensation: $14.25/hour. This in-person role in Sandusky, Ohio requires candidates to be 18+; pay may vary based on job responsibilities. Shifts will be scheduled between 8am and 11pm. The Contact Center Agent is responsible for creating, modifying, and canceling guest reservations at various resort properties, assisting guests by answering questions, resolving concerns, and providing accurate information. There is room for growth and advancement including opportunities for year-round agent and leadership roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer inbound calls and chats regarding reservations, park information, and guest inquiries in a timely, professional manner.
- Create, modify, and cancel guest reservations while ensuring all guest information is entered accurately.
- Enter and maintain credit card details in a secure and confidential process.
- Provide memorable service and build long-lasting relationships with guests.
- Foster a positive, welcoming environment by identifying guest needs and offering appropriate solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Exceptional customer service skills with a passion for helping guests from all over the world.
- Excellent communication and active listening skills.
- Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Self-starter capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Maintains professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
- Open availability including weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Computer literacy with a minimum typing speed of 25 wpm and previous general office experience.
- Must be 18+ years of age.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a resort, call center, or attraction setting.
- Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test per company policy.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check, including criminal, credit, DMV, and employment history verifications.
