Job Description
Position Overview

As a Process CADD/BIM Designer on our design team in Columbus, OH, you will create models, drawings, and BIM systems for municipal and industrial water treatment, conveyance, and other municipal projects. Key Responsibilities
- Develop sketches, models, drawings, and construction documents to support projects.
- Create accurate technical models and BIM systems using Revit/Plant 3d and AutoCAD.
- Collaborate with CAD Designers, Engineers, Project Management, and leadership for facility design projects.
- Manage work-sets, control visibility, and update design parameters.
- Apply technical expertise to process piping, pumping, and valving designs.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in drafting or design from an accredited institution.
- Familiarity with managing central and local files.
- Ability to translate verbal and visual instructions into technical models/drawings.
- Experience with AutoCAD and proficiency in Revit/Plant 3d, including loading model specifications.
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a team-oriented attitude.
- US Citizenship.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong skills with BIM360, Autodesk, BIM 360 GLUE, and Navisworks.
- Proficient in creating and updating templates and project setups in Revit.
- Experience with MicroStation Open Plant.
- Hands-on mechanical skills applicable to design and construction for municipal projects.
- Experience with process piping, pumping, and valving CAD design.

Compensation
The base salary range for this position is $43,300.00 to $65,000.00, paid hourly based on hours worked. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
