Job Description

About Paramount Capital Group

Paramount Capital Group is a consumer loan servicing company headquartered in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. For nearly three decades we have been a trusted servicer of specialty consumer finance portfolios, including recreational vehicles, marine, trade-schools, retail installment, and collateral-secured contracts.

Position Summary

The Loan System Administrator is the technical owner of our Loan Management System – Nortridge Loan System (NLS). This role configures, maintains, integrates, and optimizes NLS to support the full servicing lifecycle — from boarding through payoff — across all Paramount Capital Group portfolios. The Loan System Administrator partners directly with operations, compliance, and IT to translate business needs into reliable, auditable system changes, and serves as the company’s primary liaison with Nortridge Software for support and enhancement.

As our portfolio grows and diversifies, this position will play a central role in scaling automation, strengthening compliance controls, and improving the day-to-day experience of more than sixty internal users.

Key Responsibilities

System Administration and Security

  • Own user provisioning, role design, and security permissions across NLS; conduct periodic access reviews.
  • Own the configuration, security and provision of loan origination system (Defi).
  • Maintain loan programs, product configurations, UDFs, user-defined tabs, and workflow rules.
  • Implement field-level changes and screen modifications based on business requirements.
  • Track all system updates, patches, and version upgrades; lead testing and coordinate production release windows.

Scripting, Data, and Automation

  • Write and maintain SQL / T-SQL, VBScript, and XML scripts to support portfolio maintenance, bulk updates, and NLSServices automation.
  • Build and modify XML import files for data loads and batch updates against NLS databases.
  • Design automated workflows that improve servicing efficiency.
  • Create HTML email communication templates driven by NLS triggers and document queues.

Integrations and Reporting

  • Own NLS REST API integrations with payment processors, credit bureaus, call center software, and other internal systems.
  • Develop and maintain NLS Report Builder outputs, SQL views, and downstream data feeds to Excel, BI systems, and management dashboards.
  • Partner with the data and analytics function to ensure reporting surfaces are accurate, timely, and aligned with business definitions.

Compliance and Risk

  • Configure and maintain NLS controls that support FDCPA, Reg F, ECOA / Reg B, SCRA, FCRA, and applicable state commercial financing disclosure requirements.
  • Serve as a system subject-matter expert during internal and external compliance audits.
  • Partner with IT on disaster recovery, business continuity, and backup verification for NLS environments.

Business Partnership and Support

  • Serve as a system specialist, leading support discussions on account-management and vendor calls with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Extract requirements from business users, document them in an internal ticketing system, and prioritize against a shared backlog.
  • Resolve issues using proven troubleshooting techniques and escalate to Nortridge support when appropriate.
  • Own change management for scripted and configuration changes, including test, UAT, production deployment, and rollback.
  • Work collaboratively across teams, delivering technical tasks on time and on target with minimal guidance, while switching context as higher-priority issues arise.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Hands-on administration experience with Nortridge Loan System (NLS) or other loan management systems
  • Experience with Defi or other loan origination systems
  • Four or more years of application administration, systems analysis, or equivalent technical experience, including hands-on scripting against a relational database.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with SQL and at least one scripting language (VBScript, PowerShell, or Python).
  • Working knowledge of XML and, ideally, JSON / REST APIs.
  • Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and to translate business requests into technical specifications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Consumer lending, RV / marine finance, MCA, or retail installment contract experience.
  • Familiarity with consumer finance regulatory frameworks (FDCPA, Reg F, ECOA / Reg B, SCRA, FCRA).
  • Experience with software release management and source-control practices (e.g., Git).

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base salary range of $85,000 – $115,000, commensurate with experience and location.
  • 401(k) with company contribution.
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Generous paid time off

Pay: $85,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
