Job Description

Who We Are

Neros is a defense technology company rebuilding America's drone industrial base. We design and manufacture high-performance unmanned systems that are tested in combat, iterated at startup speed, and built at massive scale. Our team culture is fast, hands-on, and obsessed with closing the gap between design and deployment.

As drones transform the character of warfare, Neros is delivering the systems the West needs to compete on the modern battlefield and deter the adversaries of democracy. We're hiring engineers, operators, and builders who want to move fast, take on extreme ownership, and get capability into the hands of warfighters in months, not years.

What you will be doing

The Recruiter at Neros will play a critical role in shaping the future of the company by recruiting top engineering talent. This position involves managing the entire recruitment lifecycle, from partnering with hiring managers, sourcing passive candidates, extending offers, and ensuring a seamless and positive experience for candidates from interview through the interview and onboarding process.

Responsibilities

  • Own the entire recruitment lifecycle, including creating job descriptions and building a robust evaluation process by collaborating with hiring managers
  • Creatively source candidates and develop a qualified and diverse pipeline
  • Craft personalized outreach messages to engage passive talent and guide them through the interview process
  • Provide an exceptional recruiting and interview experience for both candidates and team members
  • Identify top talent from robotics, hardware, and software companies, continuously building a network of potential candidates
  • Collaborate with the team to improve existing recruiting processes and implement scalable changes to the recruiting strategy
  • Support ad hoc projects as needed and be ready to seize opportunities at a moment's notice
  • Develop a deep understanding of the business and proactively suggest improvement for team growth
  • Manage your recruiting pipeline and track and communicate recruiting KPI's to leadership

You should have the following

  • 2+ years of full lifecycle technical recruiting experience in a hardware company or hiring electrical, mechanical, software, and/or embedded engineers
  • Proven track record of success in building strong partnerships with engineering teams
  • Persistent curiosity with a desire to learn about the business
  • Excellent at driving processes and eliminating roadblocks
  • Data-driven and problem-solving mindset to improve hiring processes
  • Experience owning and managing a high volume req-load
  • Ability to think critically and creatively in a fast-paced and ambiguous work environment

Nice to have

  • Experience working at a start-up
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes

US Salary Range

$80,000 - $150,000 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are considered part of Neros' total compensation package.
