Job Description

About the Team

The Web Marketing team owns strategy and execution for Roku.com across devices and subscriptions, covering content governance, user experience (UX), search engine optimization (SEO), experimentation, and performance analysis to drive business goals and conversion. They manage homepage programming, promotional campaigns, partner offer execution, and e-commerce accuracy, coordinating with Product, Engineering, Performance Media, and Country Marketing to deliver high-quality, on-brand experiences globally.

About the Role

We're looking for a Manager, Web Marketing to lead the strategy, roadmap, and execution for Roku.com's global marketing experiences, with decision-making authority over homepage programming, content governance, SEO strategy, and the web experimentation roadmap. They will manage a team responsible for homepage programming, promotional campaigns, partner offer execution, and e-commerce accuracy, ensuring high-quality, on-brand, and data-driven experiences across markets.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Oversee all aspects of Roku.com, including content strategy, user experience (UX), search engine optimization (SEO), experimentation, and performance analysis
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive web strategy aligned to company goals; maintain a quarterly roadmap and prioritization framework
  • Define and track KPIs/OKRs for site performance (conversion rate, engagement, traffic, promo uptake); publish regular readouts and action plans
  • Work cross-functionally to prioritize content creation, featured products, and partner placements; balance business impact, UX, and operational efficiency
  • Own the A/B testing program (tooling, hypothesis pipeline, governance) to drive funnel and conversion improvements
  • Collaborate with analytics to ensure complete and accurate tagging; monitor dashboards, identify issues/opportunities, and drive continuous improvement
  • Uphold compliance with privacy, security, accessibility (WCAG 2.1+), and performance standards; coordinate approvals with Legal/Policy
  • Own the merchandising calendar for Roku.com, including SKU and promo setup, pricing/promo QA, and reseller locator accuracy
  • Lead a team and manage agencies/vendors; set goals, coach performance, and define SLAs
  • Contribute to annual planning, headcount/resource allocation, and tooling budget recommendations

We're Excited If You Have

  • 10+ years of combined web marketing and production experience in ecommerce or online services; 3-5+ years of people leadership (hiring, mentoring, performance management)
  • Proven success in owning a web marketing roadmap and delivering measurable improvements in conversion, engagement, and content effectiveness
  • Strong program/project management skills in cross-functional settings; adept with complex timelines, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations
  • Hands-on with CMS, tag management, analytics, and A/B testing platforms; fluent with dashboards and insight-driven decisions
  • Familiarity with merchandising, SKU/promo setup, and ecommerce systems; experience enabling retail sales with product content and campaign assets
  • Excellent written communication; strong brand/design aesthetic, and solid Web UX fundamentals for conversion and engagement
  • Experience with SEO best practices (on-page and technical)
  • Ability to drive outcomes in a fast-paced environment; effective collaboration and working independently
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
  • AI literacy and curiosity. You have either 1) tried Gen AI in your previous work or outside of work or 2) are curious about Gen AI and have explored it
