Job Description
Position Overview
BGSF has partnered with an investor relations advisory firm in Dallas, expanding its team with an excellent career opportunity for Investor Relations Marketing/Sales Associate. The firm helps its clients develop an effective strategy to communicate their investment thesis to Wall Street, ultimately attracting new investors and lowering clients' cost of capital. Work model structure: Initially onsite with senior team members, then a potential transition to remote while remaining local to Dallas.
The role involves targeting and scheduling introductory calls and meetings for the firm's publicly traded clients with institutional investors, as well as following up to gather investor feedback and prepare reports. You will have access to all necessary tools—including targeting tools, investor lead lists, and both internal and external databases—enabling you to expand responsibilities and further develop your investor relations sales and marketing career.
Key Responsibilities
- Target and schedule introductory calls and meetings for publicly traded clients with institutional investors.
- Follow up to gather investor feedback and prepare detailed reports.
- Collaborate closely with senior team members during the initial onsite phase and transition effectively to remote work.
- Utilize provided tools—including lead lists and databases—to achieve meeting targets.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Business, Finance, or related fields.
- 2-5 years of experience in sales/marketing, investor relations, or financial services.
- Working knowledge of the stock market.
- Outgoing personality, entrepreneurial spirit, and the ability to establish strong relationships.
- Strong sense of ethics and discretion.
