Position Overview

Account Executive – Travel and Tourism
Remote Position – based in Florida
As a Strategic Advertising Consultant for Travel & Tourism Clients, you will work with Destination Marketing Organizations, Conventions & Visitors Bureaus, attractions, and other tourism-focused businesses to help them achieve their business and marketing goals through innovative digital advertising solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a Strategic Advertising Consultant to travel and tourism clients.
  • Collaborate with clients such as DMOs, CVBs, attractions, and other industry players to achieve marketing objectives.
  • Leverage digital advertising skills and an integrated mix of marketing solutions (content, search, video, email, social media, etc.).
  • Develop innovative solutions using critical thinking and creativity.
  • Spend 40%-60% of your time in the field meeting clients, with travel expenses reimbursed weekly.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven track record in consultative, solution-oriented sales and a strong entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Minimum of two years’ sales experience.
  • Experience selling digital media advertising or a strong enthusiasm to learn and excel in digital advertising.
  • Basic understanding of what motivates people to travel.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of needs-based selling with proven success in a competitive marketplace.
  • Experience using CRM sales management software, preferably Salesforce.com.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Reliable transportation for in-person client meetings.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling digital media advertising is strongly preferred.
  • Prior travel industry experience is a plus.

  • Compensation: Base Salary of $50,000 – $55,000 per year with Total Potential Compensation of $83,500 – $93,500+.
