Position Overview
HSHS Medical Group is recruiting a BC or BE Physician to join our primary care team in Highland, IL. Highland is a fantastic community, only 38 miles from St. Louis. Attached to St. Joseph's Hospital, this location offers quick access to additional services in a bustling primary care and walk-in clinic operating Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities
- Practice in a well-established, growing outpatient primary care setting with great community support.
- Manage a Monday–Friday schedule with the option of a 4- or 5-day work week in a 100% outpatient practice.
- Participate in minimal group shared call that is phone‐based, with no requirement to be called in.
- Utilize EPIC EMR and collaborate with a strong support staff.
Required Qualifications
- Unrestricted Illinois license prior to start
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- Clinical doctorate is required
- Competence in delivering healthcare services for adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients
- Licensed physician in the state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
- Must maintain a Controlled Substance license and Federal DEA registration as applicable
- Completion (or in progress) of an accredited residency program
