Job Description
Position Overview
OneMain Financial (OMF) is seeking a VP/Director of Affiliate Marketing & Analytics, one of the largest and most complex channels for our business. We are looking for an analytical leader who can span strategic problem-solving and detail-oriented tactical execution to drive transformative growth in affiliate marketing.
The ideal candidate has an ownership mindset, outstanding independent thinking, rigorous framework-driven business judgment, and proven ability to develop talent. This role demands relentless curiosity, creativity, and empathy to drive the best outcomes for our customers, business, and team members.
Location: Wilmington, DE // HYBRID : Tues. - Thurs. anchor days
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership:
- Adopt a strategy-first mindset to identify leverage points across affiliates, anticipate market shifts, and sustainably position OneMain’s competitiveness.
- Demonstrate outstanding program management skills across multiple workstreams to drive initiatives to market with speed and rigor.
- Remain business outcome-obsessed, focusing on impactful results rather than mere activity completion.
- Communicate analytical insights, performance narratives, and strategic opportunities tailored to audiences up to C-level leadership.
- Build consultative partnerships with affiliate marketing partners and influence product roadmaps through strong, layered relationships with OMF.
- Support business development strategies to size, vet, and expand into new affiliate channels or third-party partnerships.
- Analytical Performance Optimization:
- Orchestrate rigorous monitoring cadences with appropriate frequency, KPIs, and actionable insights while avoiding over- or under-reaction.
- Develop tools and methodologies for rapid diagnosis and root cause analysis when performance shifts occur.
- Contextualize demand and seasonality trends to inform forecasting, monitoring, and marketing response.
- Mature the data, analytical, and operational infrastructure to create a nimble, adaptive marketing engine.
- Gain a deep understanding of the end-to-end loan origination process—from marketing through funding—to assess full-funnel efficiency and fallout.
- Drive robust testing around marketing leverage points (targeting, affiliate compensation, loan structure, and the end-to-end customer buying experience).
- Craft playbooks or toolkits optimized for different objective functions (e.g., levers that drive loan growth vs. NPV vs. efficiency, or varying product/credit mixes).
- Continuously evaluate incentive alignment between OMF and the ML models of each affiliate partner, considering both first and second-order implications.
- Team Development & Cross-Functional Influence:
- Lead analysts directly and collaborate cross-functionally with partner analysts, marketers, data scientists, and operations experts with clarity and empathy.
- Coach and develop analytical talent using a teaching mindset while maintaining a high performance standard.
- Foster structured thinking, disciplined prioritization, error-free work, and a collaborative culture that balances high-impact results with great work-life balance.

- Qualifications: Deep knowledge of analytical tools and techniques (e.g., SQL, SAS, R, Python) and experience with data visualization and digital marketing tools such as Power BI
- Innovative and capable of developing a structured, highly analytical approach to problem-solving, with strong data intuition and intellectual curiosity
- Proven cross-functional communication and influencing skills, including experience presenting strategies to senior executives and securing buy-in
