Position Overview
CBORD and Transact have joined forces as industry leaders in integrated technology solutions powering housing, access, foodservice, nutrition, eCommerce, card systems, and innovative payment solutions. Serving K–12, higher education, healthcare, and more, our mobile-centric ecosystem supports over 1,750 institutions. We are searching for a talented Associate Software Engineer to develop and maintain robust, scalable solutions in a microservices architecture, working closely with cross-functional teams using AWS services, modern DevOps practices, and Agile methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build end-to-end solutions.
- Maintain and optimize existing applications.
- Implement and maintain observability practices (monitoring, logging).
- Write clean, testable code and perform code reviews.
- Investigate and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Participate in Agile practices including daily standups, sprints, and retrospectives.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with programming languages (e.g., Python, C#).
- Familiarity with relational databases.
- Experience with object-oriented principles.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in an Agile team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to AWS.
- Exposure to Gen AI, such as working with large language models or AI-driven features.
- Exposure to Analytics (e.g., Redshift, Quicksight).
