Position Overview

EHS Technologies is a cutting-edge IT, Cyber Security and Engineering Firm dedicated to solving the Department of Defense’s most challenging problems. Join our mission-driven team as an Electrical Engineer (Junior) and contribute to innovative engineering solutions. In this role, you will support the design and development of electrical systems including embedded firmware, digital and analog circuitry, PCB layout using CAD tools, and device testing. Location: Max telework per NSWCPD guidelines; must currently reside in the Philadelphia area (within reasonable distance to NSWCPD).

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering from an accredited college or university.
  • 0-3 years of professional experience as an Electrical Engineer.
  • 1 year of experience tracing signals and diagnosing or isolating causes for electrical failures.
  • 1 year of experience reading, understanding, and interpreting electrical schematics.
  • 1 year of experience generating write-ups detailing testing performed, troubleshooting steps, and findings.
  • 1 year of experience using a digital multimeter to troubleshoot hardware systems.
  • 1 year of experience using a personal computer for troubleshooting and completing work product tasks.
  • 2 years of relevant experience in systems engineering, design, assembly, and testing of electronics in a new product development environment.
  • Experience in the design and development of embedded firmware, digital circuitry, and analog circuitry.
  • Experience with PCB layout using CAD design tools.
  • Experience in device testing and performance measurements to evaluate results.
