Data Scientist - Artificial Intelligence

Position Overview

CTG is seeking to fill a Data Scientist - Artificial Intelligence opening for our premier client in Phoenix, AZ for 12 months. A Data Scientist in this role skillfully combines data analysis with business insight to tackle cognitive computing challenges. They will architect and deliver AI solutions using cutting-edge technologies with a strong focus on foundation and large language models, while leveraging advanced analytics, Natural Language Processing (NLP), and Machine Learning (ML) methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and deliver AI solutions using cutting‐edge technologies with a focus on foundation and large language models.
• Utilize tools like Github Copilot and Amazon Code Whisperer to enhance AI development processes.
• Integrate AI/ML models into existing applications in both batch and real-time environments.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including data dictionaries, model documentation, and code documentation.
• Oversee the full AI project lifecycle from research and prototyping to deployment in production environments.

Required Qualifications

• Experience in building & deploying AI/ML models including Generative AI, LangChain, and NLP.
• Solid knowledge of machine learning algorithms, software architecture, libraries, and frameworks.
• Extensive experience in Python programming; Java is a plus.
• Proven ability to develop and maintain detailed and easy-to-read documentation.
• Experience integrating AI/ML into applications in batch and real-time with proficiency in SQL (Hive/PySpark) and familiarity with NoSQL databases.
• Proficiency with GitHub and leveraging CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience guiding models through AI/ML governance in highly regulated industries is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse groups.
