Position Purpose: Leads the integration, conforming, profiling and mapping of complex data, and provides quality assurance oversight on business processes where data is collected, stored, transformed or used. This role optimizes data collection efficiency and quality, identifies and resolves complex data quality challenges, and collaborates with business and ETL database developers to improve systems and database designs. Salary: $102,900.00 - $190,500.00 per year
Key Responsibilities
- Leads the work to interpret and analyze complex data from multiple sources including claims, provider, member, and encounters data while proactively assessing the business impact of trends.
- Leads the development, execution, maintenance, and troubleshooting of complex scripts and reports using SQL, Microsoft Excel, or other analytics tools.
- Oversees the root-cause analysis of data irregularities and implements approved solutions.
- Manages multiple complex tasks and data review processes independently within targeted timelines in a fast-changing environment.
- Leads the delivery of business solution architecture and implementation validation.
- Directs data profiling and source-to-target mapping efforts.
- Guides complex data integration from disparate sources.
- Applies advanced expertise in quantitative analysis and data mining to translate numbers into insights on customer behavior.
- Communicates findings and insights effectively to non-technical business partners through both verbal and visual means.
- Engages with customers and business partners to gather requirements and validate results.
- Presents data-driven recommendations to internal and external stakeholders, incorporating feedback as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned and complies with all policies and standards.
Required Qualifications
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science) or equivalent experience.
- Experience Required: 5 – 7 years of related experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Big Data and Data Processing.
- Experience with Data Manipulation and Data Mining.
- Proficiency with programming tools such as Python and SQL.
- Experience with Agile Software Development.
- Familiarity with Adobe Customer Journey Analytics is a plus.
- Seeks to acquire knowledge in the area of specialty.
