As a Financial Consultant at Schwab, you will be engaged in managing the practice of existing clients by providing wealth management and financial planning advice. Over time, you’ll grow your practice through client asset consolidation, networking, and earning client referrals. Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive financial planning and wealth management advice to clients.
- Grow your client practice through asset consolidation, networking, and referrals.
- Compensation: Eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- A valid and active FINRA Series 7 license required.
- Obtaining or acquiring FINRA Series 66 (63/65) license and Life & Health Insurance is required during your tenure on the job.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to build strong relationships, engage and encourage trust, and deepen client connections through focused communication strategies.
- Willingness to leverage Schwab’s team of specialists, adhere to Schwab advice guidelines, and use market knowledge to inspire client action.
- Openness to manage wealth on behalf of clients including retirement planning, education planning, investment management, banking & lending management, insurance & risk management, and estate planning.
- Ability to adapt and implement change as market and business conditions evolve.
- Passion for community engagement to discuss market conditions, sound investing principles, and long-term wealth strategies.
- Desire to provide an outstanding investor experience while advancing personal professional development in Wealth Management.
