Position Overview

As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you will play a key role within the Sales organization. In collaboration with your assigned sales team, you will identify, qualify, and cultivate customer opportunities, building a high-quality, strategic pipeline for field sellers so they can meet or exceed their business goals. You will gain a deep understanding of how our solutions solve customer challenges and drive digital transformation using Google Cloud’s enterprise-grade, cutting-edge technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate demand with prospective and existing customers via Google Meet (video conferencing) and phone calls to identify, qualify, and cultivate opportunities.
  • Learn and implement solution selling strategies by mapping Google Cloud solutions to customers' business imperatives, particularly related to digital transformation.
  • Maintain up-to-date business opportunity records with timely and accurate updates in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool.
  • Perform research to gather account intelligence, identify stakeholders, and build relationships with IT decision-makers and practitioners.
  • Partner with field promoters to drive customer attendance at marketing events, training sessions, and other activities that boost awareness of Google Cloud solutions.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in Business-to-Business sales.
  • Proven experience in sales development and relationship management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience exceeding sales goals in the technology industry with cloud computing solutions.
  • Experience in sourcing leads and generating a robust sales pipeline.
  • Customer-centric mindset with a solid background in account management.
  • Understanding of technology, cloud computing solutions, and digital transformation from a business perspective.
  • Ability to quickly establish trustworthy relationships with prospects and accurately assess their needs.

Benefits & Perks

  • Compensation: Base salary range of $55,000-$79,500 + bonus + equity + benefits.
