Position Overview
Learfield Amplify is seeking an Account Executive – Service at the University of California, Berkeley. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for generating revenue through ticket sales, new donor acquisition, customer service, and other related opportunities. You will manage accounts for Football and Men’s/Women’s Basketball, build lasting relationships, and proactively secure new business opportunities across campus. Compensation: The base pay is $19.18 per hour with eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus and/or additional sales compensation based on performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate revenue through ticket sales, new donor acquisition, customer service, hospitality, and other revenue generating opportunities.
- Manage a book of accounts for Football and Men’s/Women’s Basketball.
- Build relationships to ensure repeat business and deliver excellent customer service.
- Act proactively to create opportunities for new business with existing customers.
- Provide superior customer service throughout the season.
- Collaborate with various departments on campus.
- Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by the Director.
Required Qualifications
- Previous sales or customer service experience.
- Experience with ticketing systems and CRM software such as Salesforce is a plus.
- Proven track record in sales and building quality relationships.
- Friendly and professional telephone manner.
- Strong desire to learn about the business and advance your professional career.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to take initiative and act independently beyond set expectations.
- Capacity to generate original and imaginative solutions to business opportunities.
- A positive attitude and willingness to maintain a flexible work schedule.
