Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) for our growing Family Medicine practice in Los Angeles, California with a focus on Telehealth/Telemedicine. In this role you will provide high-quality virtual care to ensure that community patients receive reliable and effective healthcare. The ideal candidate will have experience in Family Medicine, strong bilingual communication skills in English and Spanish, and an unwavering commitment to patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive virtual healthcare services, including patient assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, and follow-up care through telehealth platforms.
- Manage a broad range of medical conditions including chronic disease management, preventive care, and acute illness or injury.
- Provide culturally competent care tailored to the needs of a diverse patient population.
- Educate patients on preventive health practices, medication adherence, and lifestyle modifications.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity and coordination of care.
- Utilize telehealth technologies effectively, ensuring privacy, compliance, and seamless patient interactions.
- Maintain detailed and accurate electronic medical records in accordance with best practices and regulatory guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted California PA or NP license.
- National certification as a PA or NP.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish to effectively communicate with patients.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience practicing Family Medicine (new graduates will be considered).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Telehealth/Telemedicine.
- At least 2 years of experience in Acute Care with the ability to manage complex and urgent cases.
- Familiarity with healthcare trends and telemedicine protocols.
