Job Description

Position Overview

Spencer Stuart is seeking a dynamic associate marketing manager to join their global marketing organization. This role supports the broader marketing team by driving global marketing strategies and tactics including campaign project management, digital marketing, research and content development, internal and external communications, convening, and business development. Reporting to the Marketing Director, you will work closely with various teams within the Commercial Organization such as Corporate Marketing, Client Development, Data & Analytics, and Corporate Communications. The position is located in Chicago, New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Stamford, Washington D.C., or Seattle. Base Compensation: $70,000 - $105,000 per year plus eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support senior marketing team members in creating and executing diverse marketing campaigns across industries, functions, and geographies.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for Latin America and Canada, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Own and lead discrete projects within larger marketing campaigns in collaboration with corporate marketing functions like editorial, design, and digital.
  • Develop marketing and communications materials to promote the firm’s brand, thought leadership, and expertise across multiple channels including website, social media, PR, and paid advertising.
  • Support planning and execution of firm convening events by managing invitations, RSVPs, event logistics, and follow-up activities.
  • Conduct and present research, such as competitive audits, to support marketing initiatives.
  • Contribute to cross-marketing initiatives such as playbooks or self-service tools for practitioners while innovating marketing tech and processes.
  • Collaborate with the Client Development Team to establish proactive business development initiatives aligned with go-to-market solutions.
  • Track, measure, and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.

Required Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree required with a concentration in marketing, communications, journalism, or business preferred.
  • 5 - 8 years of marketing or business development experience, ideally in B2B or professional services.
  • Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results with minimal supervision.
  • Experience with various marketing channels including digital (LinkedIn, website), email, event strategy, PR and communications, and content marketing.
  • Skilled in designing and conducting surveys with the ability to analyze data for actionable insights.
  • Advanced PowerPoint skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
  • Familiarity with technology platforms including AI and marketing tech tools is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills—both verbal and written—with keen attention to detail.
