Position Overview

Our Engineering Development Program (EDP) offers entry-level engineers the opportunity to rotate through multiple departments within Honda Development & Manufacturing of America, LLC. This program prepares participants to build comprehensive skills in manufacturing operations and business processes while driving Honda’s commitment to a zero environmental footprint. Note: Sponsorship for employment visa status is unavailable.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in a 1-2 year rotational program across various departments, gaining hands-on experience in different facets of HDMA’s manufacturing and business operations.
- Engage in roles such as Manufacturing Engineering, Equipment/Tooling Design Engineering, Quality Engineering, Materials Development, Safety Engineering, and Data Analytics Engineering.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement innovative technical solutions and enhance operational efficiency.
- Develop a network of professional contacts and apply your experiences to drive impactful business decisions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an ABET or ATMAE accredited program in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or an equivalent engineering discipline.
- 3 months co-op/internship experience in a relevant environment (preferred) and less than 2 years of engineering experience.
- Highly effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and teamwork abilities.
- Capability to balance workloads, set priorities, and present to diverse audiences.

- Equipment/Tooling Design Engineering: Ohio.
