Role and Responsibilities of Retail Sales Representative:

As a member of the Five Below team, your core duties will involve delivering outstanding customer service and assisting in the smooth running of store operations to ensure a fun and inviting shopping experience for all.

• Greet and aid clients promptly with a cheerful and customer-focused attitude.
• Possess expertise in product details, advise on selections, and deliver resolutions to meet customer requirements.
• Increase customer participation by promoting store events, discounts, and activities to boost engagement levels.
• Handle customer complaints graciously, suggesting alternative options when appropriate.
• Relay information about replenishing stock and customer reviews to the managerial team.
• Cooperate with your colleagues to accomplish the targets set for the store and the company.

Qualifications for Retail Sales Representative:

• Only those who are 16 years or older are allowed to join.
• Demonstrating flexibility with availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Comfortable and capable in using technology such as cash registers and handheld gadgets.
• Expertise in strong communication and customer service acumen.
• Skill in quickly and professionally solving problems with efficiency.
• Openness to learning through practical on-the-job training programs.

Essential Job Functions of Retail Sales Representative:

• Conduct transactions and operate a cash register for customer purchases.
• Carry and categorize items with a weight limit of 25 pounds and store them on shelves that are as high as 10 feet.
• Scale ladders, flex, rotate, and bend down as part of tasks like replenishing supplies and helping clients.
• Engage in direct and telephonic communication with customers, peers, and superiors.
• Continuously transition between sales areas and storage spaces.
• Stay attentive and stand upright for an extended period of time.
• Be open to adapting to changing schedules, including the possibility of working during the night.
