Job Description

Position Overview

Edcor is seeking additional Data Processing and Call Center team members to join our operations team in Troy, Michigan. We offer both full-time (40 hours) and flexible part-time (20 hours) positions. Every role comes with attractive compensation at $15/hour + quarterly quality bonus (depending on experience) and excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401k, disability & life insurance, plus merit increases, vacation & sick time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Entry: Verify data from clients’ employees requesting tuition assistance and ensure accurate processing of payment requests. Meet performance expectations through call monitors, Key Performance Indicators (KPI), and Service Level Agreements (SLA); work independently; and adhere to set quality standards.
  • Call Center: Receive inbound calls regarding tuition assistance applications, reimbursement requests, and program-related questions. Utilize dual monitors and reference tools to provide accurate information, maintain the contact center database with call log notes, and consistently meet KPIs and SLA requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Efficient and accurate data entry and typing skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and capacity to multitask effectively.
  • Customer focus with effective communication and listening skills.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in a claims processing or call center environment is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, Outlook, Internet Explorer (or similar browsers) and the ability to operate multiple computer programs at once.
  • Adaptability in a fast-paced work environment.
