Position Summary:
Responsible for providing financial management, business support, and oversight for a designated business area to achieve key objectives. This role guides management on financial-related matters, manages daily financial inquiries, and contributes to the development and execution of business team priorities. It also supports the executive leadership team with analytical insights. Salary: 170,000 to 195,000 based on skills and experience.Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for achieving financial results in accordance with GAAP for a designated business area including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow targets.
- Partners with business management to maintain a strong understanding of key business drivers, business processes, priorities, and future strategic direction.
- Translates complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for business leaders and senior management.
- Collaborates with business management and support teams to ensure strong execution, delivery of customer value, and positive business outcomes.
- Develops and fosters a cross-functional team approach, providing financial management support to all levels of the business team.
- Leads the preparation of financial forecasts and budgets, including identifying and quantifying risks and opportunities, and facilitating negotiation of key operational metrics.
- Performs periodic variance analyses compared to plan, forecast, and prior periods, and prepares presentations and documentation of budget and forecast information.
- Addresses issues with appropriate teams to develop action plans, identifying opportunities to improve processes and practices, and developing consistent management reporting.
- Supports monthly reviews and periodic business planning sessions by evaluating financial and operational results and contributing to key initiatives.
- Develops and maintains robust financial models to support scenario planning, pricing strategies, and investment decisions.
- Participates in medium-term and strategic planning for the assigned business area.
- Establishes, monitors, and improves the effectiveness and efficiency of internal controls.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required; Master's degree preferred.
- At least 10 years of experience in an analytical role in finance, accounting, business management, quantitative analysis, or economics.
- 5+ years of managing teams with a strong track record of developing direct reports.
- At least 10 years of experience identifying operational issues and implementing strategies to resolve them.
- Extensive experience in applying analytics principles (Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Business Management, Economics, or Finance).
- Proven knowledge of the link between analysis and business impact.
- Experience working as the financial liaison on a business team.
- Proficiency in time management skills including prioritizing, organizing, tracking details, and meeting deadlines on multiple projects.
- Advanced level skill in Microsoft Excel.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% to all Cirtec locations.
