Supply Chain Business Partner

Position Overview

Barco is the global leader in cinema technology – the pioneer in laser projection – delivering the ultimate cinematic experience from the creative studio to the silver screen. As a Supply Chain Business Partner for our cinema business unit in Kortrijk, BE, you will serve as the vital link between product teams, procurement, planning, service, and operations. Your focus on data-driven decision-making and process optimization will support product lifecycle activities while ensuring smooth supply chain coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with product management, procurement, planning, service, and operations teams to align supply chain activities with business objectives.
• Gather and analyze data on lead times, inventory levels, delivery schedules, and supply chain KPIs to monitor performance.
• Track and follow up on supply chain actions related to product launches, changes, last time buys, and end-of-life transitions.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records of supply chain processes, timelines, and supplier communications.
• Participate in initiatives to optimize processes and improve efficiency across the supply chain.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to validate inputs for demand and supply planning activities.
• Utilize ERP tools (e.g., SAP S4) and other supply chain systems (SAP APO, Microsoft Office Excel, Jira) to support operational processes.

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Economics, Business Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong affinity with data management and proficiency in ERP systems (SAP experience preferred).
• Analytical mindset with a structured approach to problem solving.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently while building consensus and fostering collaboration.
• Comfortable with uncertainty, with a focus on prioritizing key areas over minute details.
• Resilient and adaptable in a fast-changing environment, with the ability to decide quickly under pressure.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Based in Kortrijk office, with a presence of 3 days per week.
