Role Summary
• As an active investor in late-stage private companies for over 15 years, with over US$23B invested over the years, 160+ exits and an active portfolio of 120 companies including Waymo, Canva, Databricks, Anduril, SpaceX, Bytedance, Stripe, T. Rowe Price's Centralized Private Equity Team is recruiting for an associate that will be dedicated to late stage venture and private equity investing activities across all sectors

Responsibilities
• Diverse responsibilities including collaboration with portfolio managers, company review and analysis, forecasting and returns analysis, customer diligence calls, investment memo drafting and company/industry related research projects
• Opportunity to interact with private and public company C-suite executives, both in our offices and in the field; will also engage with other investors within the private investing space, including venture capital and private equity firms
• Daily opportunity to learn directly from our senior investment professionals, providing fundamental equity research support while learning the necessary skills to become a successful growth investor
Qualifications
Required:
- • Bachelor's Degree with a strong academic record AND
- • 2+ years relevant equity research experience
Preferred:
- • Preference for private company exposure and/or TMT or M&A investment banking experience, with strong financial modelling skills
- • Strong academic background and intellectual curiosity
- • Highly motivated, confident self-starter, with ability to work independently and collaboratively in a performance-driven environmentand possess excellent attention to detail
- • A demonstrated interest and passion for venture and growth equity investing
- • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- • Strong Excel and financial modelling skills including previous experience building three-statement models, DCF, returns and comps analysis
- • Demonstrated ability to derive meaningful insights from in-depth research and analysis
FINRA Requirements
FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.
Work Flexibility
This role is eligible for hybrid work, with up to one day per week from home.
