Position Overview
Medical Diagnostic Laboratories (MDL), a member of Genesis Global Group, is a CLIA certified clinical laboratory specializing in state-of-the-art automated DNA-based molecular analysis for chronic and infectious illnesses. MDL performs Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) with an extensive menu of tests in infectious diseases including Gynecology, Infectious Arthritis, Tick-borne Diseases, Mycology, and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS). We are expanding our sales force throughout the U.S. and seeking a high-energy, self-motivated Entry-Level Sales Executive to maintain and grow our client base of hospital and physician customers. Key Responsibilities
- Achieve annual sales and profit objectives for the defined territory.
- Obtain new business and exceed annual territory sales budget by presenting new test information, up selling, and seeking out new revenue sources.
- Develop and deliver personalized sales presentations to physicians, laboratory staff, clinics, and group practices, demonstrating how MDL’s technical features and services enhance patient care.
- Establish positive, long-term client relationships through scheduled calls and meetings.
- Maintain a robust business pipeline of prospective clients and manage the assigned territory effectively.
- Provide timely and accurate reporting of pipeline, account plans, and territory management activities.
- Collaborate with the Regional Manager to develop the territory in alignment with company objectives.
- Monitor competitor activities within the territory.
Required Qualifications
- Well-developed multi-tasking and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- High energy, motivation, enthusiasm, and integrity.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Sound judgment and decision-making ability.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, email, and internet functions.
- Ability to travel within the coverage area and occasionally nationwide.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a related field (experience is preferred but not required).
Preferred Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree, or two years of sales experience, or any similar combination of education and experience (preferred but not required).
