Customer Service - Self Storage Manager

Position Overview

Public Storage – the self-storage industry leader – is hiring a Property Manager. In this role you will work independently at multiple locations, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional customer service. Compensation: Earn $19.00 per Hour.

Key Responsibilities

• Work independently at multiple locations, spending time both indoors and outdoors.
• Assess customer storage needs and suggest packing and moving supplies to enhance service.
• Perform daily storage unit inspections to confirm inventory accuracy and space availability.
• Audit cash drawers and handle bank deposits as part of daily operations.
• Manage customer payment follow-ups including reminder and collection calls.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift/move items weighing up to 35 pounds, walk extensively, climb stairs, and operate large doors; perform cleaning and maintenance tasks to keep interior and exterior areas in top condition.

Required Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or sales environments (such as retail, restaurant, fast food, or similar service-based industries).
• Valid driver’s license and the ability to utilize your own vehicle for traveling between work locations (mileage reimbursement provided).
