Job Description
Position Overview
We are seeking a hands-on and proactive HR Manager to oversee the human resources function for our US operations. You will support a team of approximately 40 employees across our Denver and Los Angeles offices and report directly to the Head of People & Culture. This part-time, Denver-based role offers the autonomy to lead locally while collaborating globally to shape a culture of innovation, inclusivity, and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: Lead full-cycle recruitment from job postings and interviews to offers and onboarding; develop and implement sourcing strategies to attract diverse, high-quality candidates.
- HR Compliance & Policy: Ensure ongoing compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws; maintain and update the employee handbook, policies, HR documentation, and personnel records in Hibob.
- Employee Relations & Engagement: Act as a trusted advisor on HR matters, handle employee concerns with empathy and discretion, and organize engagement initiatives, surveys, and team-building activities.
- Performance Management & Development: Coordinate performance review cycles, support learning and career progression initiatives, manage performance improvement plans, and provide coaching on addressing underperformance.
- Compensation & Benefits: Compensation: Administer benefits programs (health, dental, 401(k), PTO), collaborate with finance on semi-monthly payroll and benefits administration, and build strong relationships with benefits brokers.
- Culture & Inclusion: Champion a respectful, inclusive, and high-performance work culture.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive HR generalist experience, including at least 2 years in a senior or management role.
- Deep knowledge of U.S. employment laws and HR best practices.
- Experience working in a small business or startup environment is highly desirable.
- HR professional certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, GPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) is a plus.
- Experience with an HRIS (such as HiBob or Bamboo) and an ATS (such as PinPoint or GreenHouse) is desirable.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with strong judgment, discretion, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and manage multiple responsibilities.

- Compensation: Competitive salary of $36,500.00 per annum (based on a full-time equivalent of $73,000-$90,000, depending on experience and working hours).
