Position Overview

The Sr. Digital Marketing Analyst is primarily tasked with assisting the Analytics team in its ongoing efforts to drive incremental revenue, provide actionable insights to decision makers, and continually develop our understanding of our fans and marketplace. This position requires a high level of work-ethic, an analytical mind, creative thinking, and a passion for telling stories through data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the measurement of marketing campaigns across email, digital, and social channels, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and delivering insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Partner with leadership to define and monitor key marketing KPIs, benchmarks, and success metrics.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in CRM and CDM data management, ensuring integrity, growth, and strategic use of fan data.
  • Work closely with the Analytics and Marketing teams to segment the database and devise email and social media automations to drive engagement.
  • Support and innovate on-going revenue and database modeling efforts.
  • Own the development of advanced dashboards, reporting, and database automations to enable proactive decision-making across the organization.
  • Guide database segmentation strategies and oversee complex automations to optimize fan engagement.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Analytics, Marketing, Partnerships, and other departments to translate business questions into data-driven solutions.
  • Support gameday and major event operations with analytics expertise as needed.
  • Assist with everyday processes and other long-term projects as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a related area of study required.
  • 2+ years of experience in marketing analytics, CRM, or a digital marketing role.
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to influence non-technical stakeholders and tell compelling stories through data.
  • Advanced knowledge of data visualization and dashboard design (Power BI or similar).
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels (SEM/SEO, paid media, social, email) and their measurement frameworks.
  • Proven ability to analyze large, complex data sets and synthesize findings into actionable insights for executives.
  • Sports experience preferred with an understanding of Major League Soccer and International soccer.
  • Strong proficiency in Salesforce Marketing Cloud; experience with Microsoft Dynamics and Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps) strongly preferred.
  • Fluency in SQL for querying, data transformation, and analysis across large relational databases.
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite preferred, but not required.
  • Technological aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and learn complex systems to solve problems and questions.
  • Team-oriented, proactive, and motivated with a high level of professionalism and integrity.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
