Position Overview

The Upturn Marketing Systems is expanding our Cincinnati team and seeking an enthusiastic Entry-Level Sales Assistant. In this role you will support daily sales operations, engage with customers, represent client brands, and help drive results in retail environments. You’ll identify customer needs, explain products, recommend solutions, and contribute directly to team goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide accurate information on product features, pricing, and services
• Assist customers with questions and help resolve concerns
• Recommend and cross-sell products to improve the customer experience
• Support retailers with promotional materials and in-store branding
• Measure and install marketing materials at retail locations
• Maintain communication with retailers to ensure all requirements are met
• Interact daily with customers in high-traffic retail environments
• Participate in team and client meetings
• Track individual and team sales goals weekly
• Support brand awareness efforts and help generate new leads
• Build strong relationships with customers and clients

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or on a team
• Flexible schedule (days, evenings, and weekends)
