Entry-Level Data Analyst

Position Overview

Job Title: Entry-Level Data Analyst.

In this role, you will support a retail client in analyzing data and providing insights that drive key business decisions, offering an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and grow within the field of data analytics.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Collection & Preparation: Assist in gathering and preparing data from various sources (sales, inventory, customer data) and ensure data accuracy and integrity through preliminary cleaning and validation.
• Data Analysis: Perform basic data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies. Support the development of reports and dashboards that highlight key performance indicators and insights.
• Reporting & Visualization: Create and update reports and visualizations to communicate data findings in a clear and actionable manner.
• Client Support: Work closely with the client to understand their data needs, respond to queries, and provide timely, accurate information.
• Market & Competitive Research: Conduct basic market research and analyze customer feedback and purchasing patterns to support business strategies.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• Some experience or internships related to data analysis, preferably within the retail or consumer-facing sectors.
• Familiarity with data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Tableau, or SAP.
• Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication skills with the ability to present data insights clearly.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a client-facing role.
• Eagerness to learn and grow within the field of data analytics.
