Entry Level Staff Accountant

Position Overview

We are partnering with a dynamic and growing Italian-owned company in the Manufacturing industry, based in Holland, Michigan. Rooted in Italian innovation and craftsmanship, our North American team is expanding and looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to support our financial operations and grow with us. In this role, you will play a key part in our day-to-day transactional accounting functions, working closely with senior accounting staff and gaining exposure to international financial operations, reporting, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close procedures
• Maintain accurate financial records and assist in audits when necessary
• Support inventory and cost accounting processes
• Generate financial reports and assist in variance analysis
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations and supply chain
• Ensure compliance with company policies, U.S. GAAP, and local regulations
• Identify and implement process improvements within the accounting function

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 0–2 years of accounting experience (internships or part-time experience welcome)
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and SAP accounting software
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Eagerness to grow professionally and contribute to a collaborative workplace
