Position Overview
Bisnow is the commercial real estate industry's leading, vertically integrated B2B media platform serving North America, Canada, the UK and Ireland. We are seeking a high-performing, entry-level Sales Representative (BDR) to join our Commercial Real Estate Advertising & Event Sales team. This hybrid role—based in either Washington, D.C. (650 Massachusetts Ave) or Philadelphia (230 S. Broad St.)—offers comprehensive training on all aspects of our products and solutions, with significant room for career growth as you progress to Business Manager and Director of Sales roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain relationships with marketing decision makers across various asset classes and sectors.
- Drive event sponsorship sales (both digital and in-person) by conducting in-depth prospecting to secure participation of sponsors.
- Consistently prospect new business to build a robust pipeline for our senior sales team through targeted research and outreach.
- Connect with sponsorship prospects using phone and email strategies and respond to all inbound leads.
- Assist the event production department in creating sponsor-friendly programs that align with Bisnow’s client interests.
- Brainstorm fresh and relevant topic ideas to stay aligned with industry trends.
- Monitor individual and team KPIs, striving to meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
- Document daily activities in Salesforce CRM.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to accelerate the sales cycle and extend reach into target accounts.
- Work with a positive, cross-functional team to ensure successful sponsorship, marketing, and financial performance of events.
Required Qualifications
- 0 - 2 years of sales experience.
- Innate hustle, raw intelligence, and infectious enthusiasm.
- Entrepreneurial yet disciplined mindset, creative yet organized work ethic, and an ambitious yet humble attitude.
- Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment with new digital and event products.
- Demonstrated success in a group or team environment.
- Strong interest in growing into an externally facing sales role and working closely with clients.
