Position Overview

In this Product Engineer role, you will learn the technical aspects of a key product in the Andover factory, acting as a product‐centric technical liaison to drive collaboration across work centers, resolve technical issues, and optimize product yield and efficiency. Location: MA101: Andover MA 350 Lowell St Essex 350 Lowell Street Essex, Andover, MA, 01810 USA. Salary: 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. Schedule: Onsite. A U.S. government issued security clearance is required, and only U.S. citizens are eligible.
Key Responsibilities
- Address major yield and technical issues highlighted by tech leads and factory operation managers.
- Perform data analysis to provide direction for overall product yield and performance improvement.
- Facilitate collaboration across manufacturing work centers and design engineering.
- Empower production test engineers to resolve complex failures using data-driven troubleshooting techniques.
- Establish a technical understanding of the product architecture, subassemblies, and test requirements.
- Partner with test and design engineering teams to develop sustainable solutions with proper root cause and corrective action identification.
- Provide direct support for manufacturing test activities by spending significant time on the factory floor.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience Required: At least 1+ years in production testing/troubleshooting.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Preferred majors: Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering Technology.
- Ability to interpret and analyze RF parametric data.
- Experience with lean principles in a manufacturing environment.
- Current DOD Secret Security Clearance.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills bridging operations, production control, engineering, supply chain, and customer relations.
- Experience applying technical principles in the manufacturing lifecycle and familiarity with quality systems.
- Demonstrated shop floor management, strong engineering aptitude, analytical skills, and effective technical problem solving.
- Ability to work cohesively in a diverse environment.
