Position Overview

We are seeking qualified individuals to contribute to the development of functioning prototypes for ATV/SxS vehicles by researching and applying new technologies to support business targets and maintain global vehicle product quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop basic component and system layouts for ATV/SxS prototype vehicles using computer-aided design software to meet concept targets, function requirements, and manufacturing requisites with minimal supervision. Communicate specifications and manufacturing control points via prototype and production drawings, establishing final specifications for new models and mass production vehicles, and maintain accurate technical and administrative documentation.
- Adhere to given cost targets by optimizing part/system designs and implementing additional cost reduction ideas to meet vehicle development objectives.
- Create and manage personal work schedules, coordinate resource needs with supervisors, and effectively utilize contractor resources while maintaining consistent communication and participation in project meetings and development events.
- Generate innovative ideas that contribute to the evolution of new technologies and support their maturation toward development applications with minimal supervision.
- Support market quality themes by applying problem-solving methods to analyze root causes and develop and implement necessary C/M specifications.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a related engineering discipline.
- Engineering experience desired, preferably in the Powersports or Automotive field.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills.
- Effective ability to interact and communicate with staff and management.
- Capability to operate with a high level of confidentiality.
- Proficiency in FTA, FMEA, dimensional tolerance stack-ups, and their applications.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, judgment, decision-making, and prioritization skills.
- Proficient drawing and layout skills with an understanding of CAE principles.
- Ability to create and manage plans and schedules and understand product development timelines.
