Job Summary of Warehouse Receiver:

Working as a Warehouse Receiver at Floor & Decor is vital for the smooth operation of our retail store. Your main duties consist of preparing orders, restocking items, and transferring goods within the store or to customers' vehicles. Throughout your shift, you will verify inventory and orders, engage with customers, and handle forklift operations. If you are a sociable, detail-oriented, industrious individual who excels in a warehouse setting, Floor & Decor presents an ideal opportunity for you. Both full-time and part-time roles are currently open for application.

Responsibilities of Warehouse Receiver:

• Exhibit and grasp adherence to the safety protocols of the organization. Operate efficiently in a high-speed work setting with precision.
• Deliver exceptional customer service that goes beyond what is expected and surpasses customer satisfaction.
• Align your actions and efforts with the fundamental principles of the organization.
• Refill our showroom with merchandise.
• Arrange products according to the company's guidelines for easy customer navigation.
• Equip customers with the accurate merchandise they require.
• Assisting clients in locating items as required and responding to inquiries from customers.
• Be prepared to help out in different sections of the store as required. Maintain cleanliness and safety of your workspace.

Requirements of Warehouse Receiver:

• Person must be of legal age: 18 years or above.
• Proficiency: in fundamental mathematical concepts.
• Warehouse experience:
• Customer service experience:
• Preferred experience: in operating heavy machinery, forklifts, or agricultural equipment, although previous involvement is not mandatory.
• Proficiency: in managing various responsibilities simultaneously and performing effectively in stressful situations. Successful acquisition of forklift certifications from F&D.
• In states where it is allowed: certification for operating heavy machinery necessitates passing a drug screening as a prerequisite.

Working Conditions of Warehouse Receiver:

While carrying out the responsibilities of this position, the worker may be in contact with warehouse surroundings and mobile equipment intermittently. The level of noise within the workplace usually ranges from low to medium.

Physical/Sensory Requirements:

• Ability to exert 30-60 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20-30 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
• The employee is often required to use their hands and fingers, to handle or feel.
• The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
