Position Overview

Compensation Range: Hourly: $30.55 - $40.85 (based on experience, skills, and competencies).

Key Responsibilities

  • Build strategic plans to execute events and activations supporting Small Business, Commercial, Healthcare, Payments, and Construction lines of business.
  • Manage robust events and activations schedules with regular status reporting.
  • Manage and reconcile event budgets while keeping leadership informed.
  • Lead event initiatives ensuring cross-functional alignment and timely execution.
  • Manage vendor relationships, pricing, and negotiations to maintain fiscal discipline.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Sales Enablement teams for effective post-event ROI tracking.
  • Lead brainstorming sessions with team members to develop on-brand, budget-conscious event concepts.
  • Collaborate closely with COIs and third-party strategic partners to manage relationships and contracts.
  • Help cultivate and support an Agile Marketing work environment.
  • Proactively assist team members and streamline processes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated critical thinking and listening skills with the ability to quickly connect with internal clients.
  • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • A motivated, organized self-starter with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to remain adaptable, resilient, and maintain a positive outlook aligned with Commerce’s culture and Core Values.
  • Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 6+ years of marketing or corporate project management experience.
  • Experience planning and executing corporate strategic events.
  • Hybrid schedule: In office 3 days per week.
  • *Level of role determined by knowledge, experience, skills, abilities, and education.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Salesforce CRM and/or SharePoint.
