The Senior Manager, Production Design will join the Brand Creative Studio as a senior design leader responsible for high-volume, systems-led creative execution across multiple business functions including the Netflix Brand, Netflix House, Product Marketing, and Corporate Communications. This role focuses on translating brand strategy and design systems into scalable, repeatable outputs while building and leading a centralized production design capability.
Compensation: $272,000.00 - $459,000.00
Key Responsibilities
- Lead production design across high-volume, design-led workstreams, including lower‐funnel marketing assets, campaign toolkits, sales materials, and presentation systems for executive, sales, and high-priority communications.
- Translate brand design systems, toolkits, and creative direction into scalable production frameworks that support speed, consistency, and quality across teams and partners.
- Establish standards for templates, modular systems, asset frameworks, and production workflows across channels and markets.
- Serve as a senior creative partner to teams across Brand, Netflix House, Product Marketing, Consumer Products, and Corporate Comms, ensuring outputs from performance marketing to executive communications maintain clarity and brand expression.
- Support high-visibility presentation design needs, ensuring work is fit-for-purpose across audiences and channels while maintaining alignment with Netflix brand standards.
- Build, lead, and mentor a multidisciplinary production design pod focused on speed, scale, and systems-level thinking.
- Provide clear creative direction, feedback, and prioritization in fast-moving, high-output environments to foster a culture of ownership and accountability.
- Oversee and collaborate with external agencies and production partners, determining when work should be handled internally versus externally based on scale, complexity, and timelines.
- Ensure agency output aligns with Netflix brand standards and production frameworks.
- Uphold high standards of design quality across all production outputs, including executive-facing and external presentation materials.
- Continuously refine workflows, systems, templates, and production processes to improve efficiency and consistency.
- Stay current on best practices in production design, creative operations, and design tooling.
Required Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in design, production design, or creative operations within a creative agency, design studio, or scaled in-house brand team.
- Proven experience leading high-volume, brand-led production design across multiple channels and formats.
- Experience overseeing a broad range of production outputs, including presentation design for senior leadership, sales, and marketing.
- Strong background in building and managing design systems, templates, and modular frameworks.
- Ability to translate complex information into clear, well-structured visual communications across formats.
- Demonstrated experience leading and mentoring a design team in fast-paced environments.
- Exceptional collaboration skills with experience partnering with cross-functional teams.
- Experience managing external agencies and production partners.
- Fluency in modern design tools and workflows (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite; motion experience is a plus).
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and shifting priorities.
- A hands-on leader who can move fluidly between strategic guidance and direct contribution when needed.
