Job Description

Estate Planning Attorney (No Prior Estate Planning Experience Required)

Robbins Estate Law – Austin, TX (In-Person)

Compensation:

$110,000–$140,000 + Growth Path

Robbins Estate Law, one of Texas’s fastest-growing estate planning and probate firms, is seeking an attorney with at least five years of legal experience who is ready to transition into estate planning. Prior estate planning experience is not required — we will train the right candidate.

If you are a thoughtful, detail-oriented attorney who enjoys working directly with clients and wants to practice at a high level without the pressure of business development or sales, this may be the opportunity you’ve been looking for.

What You’ll Do

After training, you will:

  • Meet with individuals and families to design customized estate plans
  • Draft wills, revocable trusts, and related planning documents
  • Guide clients through complex life and financial decisions with clarity and confidence
  • Collaborate closely with our experienced drafting paralegals and intake team
  • Deliver a white-glove, highly organized client experience from start to finish

You will not be responsible for generating business, networking, or sales. Our intake and marketing teams provide qualified clients who have already chosen to work with our firm.

Why This Role Is Different

  • We train you. You do not need estate planning experience. We provide systems, templates, mentorship, and process.
  • Sophisticated clients. You will work with successful families who value planning done right.
  • Established systems. Clear workflows and support staff allow you to focus on legal judgment and client care.
  • Flat, transparent pricing. Clients understand the scope and value of what we provide.
  • Room to grow. As you develop expertise and mastery, compensation and responsibility increase accordingly.

Robbins Estate Law is known for exceptional client experience, strong internal culture, and operational excellence. We are not a “figure it out yourself” firm — we are structured, collaborative, and serious about quality.

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 5 years of legal experience in any practice area
  • Strong drafting skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent client communication and presence
  • Ability to manage a structured, in-person schedule (approx. 40–45 hours/week)
  • Desire to master estate planning as a long-term practice focus
  • Growth mindset and coachability

Experience in estate planning, tax law, business law, probate, or litigation is a plus — but not required.

Compensation

  • Base salary: $110,000–$140,000, depending on experience
  • Clear opportunity for advancement and compensation growth as you develop estate planning expertise
  • Full-time, in-person role in the Austin area (with occasional travel between local offices)

Who Thrives Here

  • Attorneys who enjoy deep client relationships rather than adversarial litigation
  • Prefer clarity, systems, and team collaboration
  • Want to become truly excellent at one area of law
  • Take pride in precision and delivering a premium client experience

If you are ready to transition into estate planning and build a long-term career in a stable, growing firm with strong mentorship and systems, we encourage you to apply.
