The main purpose of this role is to achieve greater synergies at both the enterprise consumer segment and local market levels to meet CBI, SPU, and Market objectives. Compensation Range: Annual Salary: $154,500.00 - $184,000.00 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.)

Key Responsibilities
- Direct the Consumer Segment Marketing team in the development, alignment, and execution of marketing plans and strategies including content marketing, digital and new media strategies, consumer marketing programs, web development, and creative services.
- Influence the brand evolution and creative strategies for Commerce Bank in direct partnership with Corporate Marketing, ensuring alignment within the consumer segment.
- Drive marketing performance through strategies focused on consumer acquisition, relationship deepening, and cross-SPU relationship transfer.
- Lead continuous improvement, evaluation, and enhancement of implemented consumer segment marketing initiatives.
- Develop short and long-term initiatives aligned with company strategy and provide guidance, coaching, and development opportunities for team members.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate team members to implement departmental strategy, uphold company culture, and drive organizational success.
- Communicate decisions, priorities, and relevant information to all levels of staff effectively.
- Oversee budget management, planning, and expenditure.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge of consumer marketing best practices and bank marketing regulations.
- Ability to work within a matrixed environment with excellent interpersonal skills, and influence effective negotiations across all levels of management and peers.
- Proven ability to measure results and reinforce ROI on programs/investments with strong fiscal responsibility and effective business case presentation skills.
- Experience in directing and managing a high volume of strategies, including developing and managing an Agile marketing environment.
- Demonstrated ability to create a high-performing team and lead initiatives, projects, and activities that support departmental and organizational goals.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, decision-making skills with the ability to develop and implement new strategies addressing complex business challenges.
- Expertise in general management including departmental goal setting, planning, budgeting, and personnel administration.
- Resilience and adaptability with a positive outlook aligned to company culture and Core Values.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
- Master’s degree in Business Administration or Marketing, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 10 years of financial services marketing experience and 7 years of leadership/supervisory experience.
