Position Overview

Join our team as a Mechanical Assembler for Aerotek’s prestigious client in Milwaukee, WI. In this role you will produce highly engineered, specialized, and innovative maintenance-of-way equipment for rail-related markets. You will use mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic assembly techniques while operating overhead cranes and jibs, following blueprints and schematics to ensure precision. This project position is expected to run through mid-December on the 1st shift from 6:30am to 3:00pm, Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic assembly tasks.
• Utilize overhead cranes and jibs for assembly processes.
• Follow blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate assembly.
• Conduct diesel repair and electrical wiring tasks as needed.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Diesel Mechanic or Mechanical Assembly.
• 1+ year of experience in blueprint reading.
• 1+ year of experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools.
• Ability to work with electrical wiring and schematics.

Preferred Qualifications

• Possession of a personal basic set of tools is required.
