Job Description

We are searching for a talented, digitally-savvy communicator for the role of Sr. Social Media Manager.

This person is responsible for overseeing social strategy, project management and overall campaign development across several client accounts.

The Senior Social Strategist is a client-facing role in which you will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies for our clients. You will work closely with clients to understand their goals and objectives and execute campaigns against those goals. You will also be responsible for providing input on the creative development of our clients' social presence, from both a campaign and always-on perspective. This includes paid social, owned social, and activation. Applicants must be legally able to work in the USA and on-site in Austin, TX. We cannot sponsor visas for this role at this time.

Responsibilities

  • Develop social campaign briefs, strategies, rollout and amplification plans
  • Develop influencer and partnership content amplification strategies
  • Employ creative targeting strategies to execute winning campaigns, including custom audiences, third-party data, suppression lists, lookalike audiences, and more
  • Analyze monthly reports and campaign reports to identify trends and insights
  • Track the effectiveness of implemented learnings and make adjustments as needed
  • Design social and digital plans for new business pitches
  • Manage a team of Digital Marketing Managers and Social Media Specialists

Requirements

  • 5+ years of social media management or equivalent social/digital/integrated marketing experience within a fast-paced marketing agency
  • Proven portfolio and track record of creating best in class social activations, campaigns and stunts
  • Proven record of success placing paid ads on social platforms, developing social media creative, editing copy, and engaging with page visitors
  • Strong client management experience with a track record of communicating clearly and successfully with executive leadership
  • Proficient with analytic tools such as Sprinklr, Google Analytics, Sprout, and Brandwatch
  • Extensive knowledge of social media and digital ecosystems, with mastery of Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Reddit, Pinterest and a growing knowledge of Threads
  • Flawless spelling and grammar
  • Innate curiosity and entrepreneurial spirit
  • Commitment to excellence - working nonstandard hours when necessary, anticipating issues and communicating with diplomacy, identifying emerging platforms and trends to drive innovation
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite
