Job Description

Position Overview

The Digital Technology Advisor is primarily responsible for performing instructor-led training on CAD/CAM products at dental offices and the local Patterson branch. This role also involves observing and evaluating current customer clinical practices, analyzing the clinical team's capabilities, and consulting with customers on the integration of CAD/CAM into their clinical workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and deliver instructor-led training sessions at customer sites and the Patterson branch on CAD/CAM software and products (e.g., Dentsply Sirona CEREC, 3Shape Trios, Planmeca PlanCAD, 3D printing, Sirona 3D implant planning, CEREC Guide 2).
  • Coordinate, participate in, and support meetings and technology events/marketing activities as requested by leadership.
  • Prepare, implement, and revise the CAD/CAM integration process for new and existing customers; recommend process improvements for efficiency.
  • Assist customers in designing a CAD/CAM software solution and clinical flow that aligns with their needs.
  • Act as an ongoing advisor to CAD/CAM customers regarding technology updates and associated products.
  • Assist with the installation and updating of CAD/CAM software and hardware with support from technical teams.
  • Collaborate with Patterson Technology Center (PTC) to resolve CAD/CAM software and product issues as necessary.
  • Prepare, coordinate, and conduct User Group Meetings and CAD/CAM Study Clubs.
  • Complete administrative and technical duties (e.g., expense accounts, feedback, pre and post training reports) in accordance with company procedures.
  • Comply with company and departmental policies and perform other duties as assigned.
  • Sign in remotely to customers’ CAD/CAM acquisition units to analyze and resolve issues.
  • Deliver CEREC Ortho certification as needed.
  • Establish a comprehensive plan to promote the retention of CAD/CAM systems, monitor customer satisfaction, and build loyalty through surveys, newsletters, and follow-up communications.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Learning and Development or equivalent education and/or experience
  • 5 years of experience with digital dentistry
  • Drivers License upon hire required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Dental assistant or dental hygiene experience
  • Experience in the use and training of technology-related dental products and equipment

  • Compensation: $71,900.00 - $88,100.00
