Position Overview

We are seeking an Account Executive to drive growth by identifying and developing referral relationships, educating healthcare providers about our products and services, and ensuring exceptional service in your rural territory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and grow referral relationships within hospitals, physician clinics, and other healthcare facilities.
  • Educate healthcare providers about Rotech’s products, services, and value-based care.
  • Own your rural territory: prospect, present, and close new accounts.
  • Partner with local teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Report sales activity and territory trends to management via call planner.
  • Conduct in-person visits to referral sources within the assigned territory.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Completion of a background check; results will be individually assessed.
  • Successful drug screening (if applicable) and compliance with healthcare facility credentialing processes (if applicable).
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (if applicable).
  • Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent, required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Four-year college degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in respiratory or medical sales is preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience and proven sales performance (2+ years in B2B or healthcare sales preferred; new college graduates are welcome).
  • Ability to work independently, be resourceful, and thrive on autonomy and accountability.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex topics and build trust.
  • Willingness to travel for in-person visits throughout the assigned territory.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms is a plus.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
