As part of CBS Stations’ Local Ad Sales team—responsible for driving local revenue growth across Paramount Global streaming & digital assets and CBS Television Stations—you will help define strategies and generate new business. In the role of Account Executive, New Business, you will prospect and secure new business for the Paramount Streaming portfolio (including Paramount+, CBS, Pluto TV, and more) while reporting directly to the Vice President, Business Development - Local Digital Sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect, qualify, and cold call potential clients and agencies to activate across Paramount digital properties.
  • Work with clients and agency partners to develop impactful digital solutions and compose media plans with Account Managers.
  • Advise on all stages of workflow by understanding systems and processes, ensuring campaign expectations are managed both internally and externally.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Sales, Marketing, Pricing & Yield to drive business development from prospecting to close and support repeat revenue generation.
  • Monitor digital campaign pacing and efficiency, assisting in campaign re-merchandising as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of business development experience in advertising/media; streaming sales experience is preferred.
  • Excellent sales skills including consultative sales approach, persuasive presentation abilities, confident negotiation, and post-sale re-merchandising.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to think creatively.
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills with strong analytical foresight.
  • A team-first mindset with a passion for fostering an inclusive and diverse culture.
  • Highly proficient in PowerPoint and Excel.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree preferred; equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
  • Experience with applications such as Salesforce, Operative, GAM, Google Analytics, Freewheel, or other web-related applications is a plus.

  • Salary: $100,000.00 - 130,000.00
