Job Description

Position Overview

Mechanical/Electrical Engineer - MEP Building Systems. Join our team to design innovative, sustainable, and efficient building systems across a wide range of project types — from healthcare and commercial to education, retail, industrial, government, and mixed‑use developments. Salary: $80,000.00/yr - $/yr. Location: Baltimore, MD area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform engineering calculations and design electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems for building projects.
  • Develop drawings, models, and specifications using Revit and/or AutoCAD.
  • Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, and other disciplines to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems.
  • Conduct site visits, field surveys, and construction administration duties.
  • Review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, and support contractors during project execution.
  • Stay current with applicable building codes, energy standards, and industry best practices.
  • Assist senior engineers and project managers in delivering projects on time and within budget.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Proficiency in Revit and/or AutoCAD.
  • Familiarity with building codes, ASHRAE standards, NEC, and other applicable design standards.
  • Strong problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Requirements: EIT certification required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Qualifications: PE licensure preferred.
