Intermediate Architect​/Designer

Position Overview

COOKFOX Architects is a mission‑based studio dedicated to integrated, environmentally responsive design. Inspired by concepts such as biophilia and biomimicry, the firm pursues architecture that restores and regenerates. With a collaborative studio environment that encourages learning and open communication across all experience levels, the team is passionate about creating designs that both serve people and the planet.

We are seeking a creative Intermediate Architect/Designer to join our Minneapolis based studio. Location: Minneapolis
Salary: $80,000 - $95,000 per year

Key Responsibilities

• Work directly with the Minneapolis based partner and collaborate with our NYC based studio on projects.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of professional experience; multi‑family residential projects a plus.
• Professional degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• Strong design background with the ability to develop architectural design concepts.
• Working knowledge of Revit and Adobe Suite; proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and 3DMax a plus.
• Comfortable in all project phases, with knowledge of building codes and zoning regulations.
• Management and leadership skills with the ability to guide and mentor architectural staff.
• Experience working with diverse clients, consultants, and vendors.
• Organized with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Motivated, collaborative, and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
